The Begining

This 2000 Limited Edition Tahoe was purchases on August 11, 2011 from a seller in Chattanooga, TN. Just a little breif history on these vehicles:

  There were only 8905, Tahoe Limited Edition SUVs produced. That worked out to be approximately 1 Limited per every 3 dealers nationwide -- a truly LIMITED edition. There is also conflicting information on the production model year, so let's just say that they were made only in 1999 for the 1999/2000 model year. There are two more "exclusives" to the Tahoe Limited (aka Tahoe SS). The first is that the production version was available only in Black Onyx Metallic. The prototypes were made in green [shown above] and blue, but production was limited to black only. The second exclusive is that the Tahoe Limited is the only GM production vehicle to have the special Ronal R36 5-spoke aluminum rims.

The 2000 Tahoe Limited Edition sported some special features -- some of which are not found on any other Tahoe as a package or standard option. Here is a list of the Tahoe Limited Edition standard and optional equipment:

My Tahoe did not come with the two tone leather seats, cold package, onstar heated seats or block heater.
I would definitely be interested in finding all other Limited Edition Tahoe owners out there.  This will be a journey of my ideas and thoughts as I add a little be of Tech to my Limited.  I own i small business where i do primarily computer and laptop repair, but have ventured out inter other repair jobs methods.
